Following pre-school development parents will have to decide which primary school their child will attend. There is only one within the village therefore if this does not meet parents/child needs, schools outside the area will have to be found. For the great majority our primary school will be completley satisfactory.

History: see official guide, but in addtion there used to be two schools in the village, infants and CofE. The infants school is now a private house on Hall Lane and the CofE school is as now but with only three classrooms and meals used to be cooked in kitchens in Knutsford and delivered each day.
The current car park was the playground and right in the centre was a large oak tree.

In the adjacent field there used to be x No. of air-raid shelters. They were removed c19?? see photos.
